Vapor Procesos is a Chilean established and incorporated company that provides solutions to the biggest mining producers, mainly focused on identifying revenue leakage areas inside their various production process. Vapor aim is to implement tailored made integral solutions such as; engineering, financing, development, operations, to help generating additional mining revenues. Vapor usually achieves such integral solution by treating tailings and other forms of mining residuals from mining companies to recover copper sulphate.

MRI TRADING AG and its local Chilean partners decided to join their expertise to create a Joint-Venture called Vapor Procesos to take opportunity of providing environmental mining solutions in an affordable way to mining companies. On January 31 2008 Minera MRI Resources Chile Ltda (a 100% owned subsidiary of MRI TRADING AG) signed share purchase agreement to acquire 80% of Vapor Procesos which means that MRI TRADING AG owns 80% of Vapor Procesos.
