Ian Anderson joined MRI TRADING AG in 2008 as a senior trader and analyst. He graduated from Nottingham university in 1971 with a joint honours degree in Mathematics and Chemistry. His first job was in the metals and minerals industry and has been in this field of work for the last 37 years. He has been employed by mining, smelting and trading companies, including the original Marc Rich + Co (now Glencore) and Trafigura. During his career he was posted to the Far East where he lived and worked for nearly 10 years. He is a specialist in base metal concentrate trading.
